At Hi3DP, we want every customer to have the right balance of cost, speed, and reliability when shipping their 3D prints. Our new Economy shipping solution offers the lowest shipping rate we currently provide, but like any delivery option, it’s best suited for certain types of orders.
This guide will walk you through when to choose it, how it works, and what to expect so that you can make an informed decision.
When to Choose Economy?
Economy is ideal if you:
• Are shipping small, lightweight, lower‑value prints.
• Want to minimize shipping costs.
• Can allow a longer delivery time.
• Do not require guaranteed express speed or premium insurance coverage.
It’s a great fit for hobbyists, sample orders, and non‑urgent prototypes. If you’re sending high‑value, fragile, or time‑critical prints, one of our express or premium courier options may be a better match.
Key Features and How It Works
• Service Type: Carriage Paid To (CPT). Hi3DP covers freight to your destination country, and trusted last‑mile partners (USPS, PCF, ONTRAC, T FORCE, and UDS) handle final delivery.
• Starting Price: From $3.12 (our lowest rate).
• Delivery Time: Typically, 8–13 business days from dispatch.
• Performance Data: (Based on previously delivered packages from this provider.) Most orders arrive within 10 business days, and over 9 in 10 are delivered within 15 business days.
Restrictions and Requirements You Need to Know
To qualify for Economy, your order must meet all of these:
• Weight: Less than 12kg
• Value: $59.99 or less
• Package Box Size: Maximum 55*40*35cm
• Printed Part Size: Maximum 50*35*30cm
• Contact information: Must be accurate to avoid redelivery fees
For destinations with fewer flights and lower shipping volume, dispatch may take longer, extending delivery beyond 13 business days.
How Hi3DP Deals with Package Loss or Damage?
We believe in transparency:
The complaint rate of Economy is about 15%, which includes delays, losses, or damage.
What you'll need to pay attention to:
1. Hi3DP arranges and pays for transportation to your destination country.
2. Risk of loss or damage transfers to you once the package is handed over to the first carrier.
3. Any claims for loss or damage must be made directly with the carrier providing the service.
Tips:
1. Choose a delivery address where someone is available, and consider packaging add‑ons or insurance if available.
2. Keep your tracking number and monitor updates closely.
3. Contact the last‑mile delivery partner promptly if you suspect loss or damage.
Tracking and Delivery Updates
• You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships. Simply check it on the Hi3DP user center (don't have an account? Join Us Now) or your email address.
• Tracking may show updates from both the main carrier and the last‑mile partner.
• Status terms can vary; for example, “In Transit” may still mean the package is moving between carriers.
• If tracking hasn’t updated for several days, contact our support team at hey@hi3dp.com for assistance.

Tips for a Smooth Delivery Experience
1. Double‑check your contact details because incorrect info can cause delays or extra fees.
2. Track your shipment regularly to anticipate delivery.
3. Be available on delivery day to avoid missed deliveries.
4. Consider your delivery address. For example, workplace addresses can be more reliable if you’re not home during the day.
